Some information for parents
Woodland Beavers meet once a week, on a Friday from 5.30 p.m. until 6.45 p.m. at the Scout HQ in Bishops Lydeard. Beaver Scouts are aged from six to eight years and girls and boys are welcome.
Our main aim is to provide a safe, controlled environment where our children can have as much fun as they can cope with! We have an energetic colony but there is room for all children no matter what their individual needs. Each term a programme is produced which centres around the main cores of:
Exploring through Scouting.
Learning about themselves.
Caring for others.
Getting to know people.
