An Apology
This website page has not been updated for some time. This work is done on a voluntary basis by the Parish Clerk. We hope to be able to update it a little more frequently over the coming months.
 
The Village Trees.
The replacement trees have all been planted and all seem to have fared well over their first summer.

Heritage Style Village Signs
The new signs were erected by the County Highways staff during the summer. Most parishioners feel that they have improved the visual amenity of the village.

Parish Council Meetings
The Parish Council has continued to meet every other month. Minutes of all previous meetings can be found by clicking on the links on the home page.

Reduction of Financial Reserves
It was agreed at the Annual Parish Meeting that the reserves would be used to improve the playpark area. The young people of the Parish have been consulted through their clubs. The Council is now considering options and seeking support funding from other sources.

Constituency Changes
West Bagborough Parish is now part of the Bishops Lydeard ward of Taunton Deane Borough Council. This means that we welcome 3 new District Councillors. Joanna Lewin Harris, Peter Watson and Tony Beavan. Contact details can be found by clicking the link on our home page.

Change of Meeting Day.
Parish Council meetings are now held on the THIRD Wednesday of each second month.
